Hey KL-lites, it’s about time to start thinking of ideal dating spots in Kuala Lumpur with your special someone! Ever since the Covid-19 outbreak, there isn’t a chance to get together with your partner in a unique ambience. Love birds are likely stuck at home together or perhaps through a digital screen.
Now that the movement control order is relaxed, it’s time for love birds to actually visit a romantic spot to express appreciation to one another. (Keep in mind to abide by the Covid-19 SOP!)
Here are 8 dating spots in Kuala Lumpur that you can visit with your partner for an excellent romantic time. IF you are located elsewhere, you may use the idea to search for something nearer to you!

Isn’t it wonderful to appreciate each other and the beauty of nature simultaneously? While more and more cafés with a garden theme are opening in KL, you can check out Bangsar area for some cool cafes. When you sit in their open and breezy seating area, the only thing you’ll be thinking about is whether your lover or the lush garden is more attractive.

Everybody knows that good dining restaurants have always been a popular choice for romantic dinners. This age is all about breaking the rules and busting stereotypes, so of course, we want to raise our romantic game too!. When you’re done dining in dimly lit restaurants, it’s time to kick back on the soft grass in the warm sunshine.
To spend some quality time with your significant half, you might plan a romantic picnic at one of your favourite parks. Kuala Lumpur boasts a plethora of parks where you may relax on a blanket and tuck into a basket of delicious snacks. The Desa Park City, for example, is a popular picnic spot that is well-kept, cosy, and pet-friendly. You’ll have a wonderful time picnicking here, and perhaps your pet can join in the fun as well!

You can observe this distinctive touch in the adjoining Jalan Petaling lane of Kwai Chai Hong, a skillfully renovated old alley with historic buildings. Project Kwai Chai Hong, which restored the hidden lane and displayed exquisite murals reflecting the daily routines of early Chinese settlers in the area in the 1960s, played an essential role in restoring the murals. Various art installations are now on display at multiple festivals and celebrations.

We’ll all be looking forward to a change of scenery after being cooped up at home during MCO. The good news is that we don’t have to travel too far to experience this! There are many hiking routes in and around Kuala Lumpur for both a peaceful nature walk and an exhilarating adventure excursion with your significant other.
Bukit Broga, Semenyih and Bukit Sri Bintang, Kepong are two of our favourite hiking destinations. Mainly because of their breathtaking views of nature and the city. We also propose the KL Forest Eco Park if you’re looking for an easy-breezy date activity that’s still in the heart of nature. As one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest forest reserves, the park is recognised as the city’s green lung. Also, the Canopy Walk, a well-known aerial bridge! It is a great place to take a romantic couple’s picture while admiring the skyscrapers of Malaysia’s capital city.
Hot Air Balloon Rides
Nowadays, dates are no longer restricted on ground because you can now be floating in the air above them. Commercial hot air balloon rides is now available for the first time in Malaysia, thanks to My Balloon Adventure. These hot air balloon trips are an exciting and unique way to see Malaysia with your loved one. The hot air balloon rides commonly attracts riders celebrating their anniversaries, birthdays, and even proposals!
Each flight lasts 45 minutes to an hour and leaves from many locations in Kuala Lumpur, including Broga Semenyih and Putrajaya Precinct 2. The Elmina Iconic Bridge is an eye-catching walkway over Taman Tasik’s Elmina Central Park. This rainbow-coloured bridge is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before in terms of structure and design. If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous on your next date, then look no further. We have Sunway Lagoon and Berjaya Times Square Theme Park in the Klang Valley. This is probably my favourite dating spots in Kuala Lumpur since I am quite the adrenaline junkie.
At Sunway Lagoon, visitors may pick from various wet and dry attractions. At the same time, at Berjaya Times Square, they can explore Malaysia’s largest indoor theme park. Fun activities and rides are available at each location for everyone to enjoy! Surely, you and your significant other are in for the most memorable dates!
