Certainly the most popular recipe on this list, and with everyone stuck at home, the whipped coffee version of a popular Korean candy went viral on the Internet. Hundreds of thousands of people took to Instagram and TikTok to jump on this trend, and post photos and videos of them recreating this recipe. If you have yet to make this coffee drink at home, here’s how you can participate in this food trend.
To make the fluffy and creamy coffee layer to top off your drink, you’ll need either a hand mixer, a stand mixer, a whisk or a good ‘ol spoon.
First, add 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of hot, boiling water in a bowl. Whip the ingredients together for about 2 to 5 minutes until the mixture turns creamy and frothy. Pour a glass of milk and scoop out the whipped coffee carefully and put it on top of the drink. Stir well and enjoy your fancy drink. Your favorite neighbourhood cafe may not be operating as usual because of the RMO, but once you’ve perfected this recipe, you get to recreate the cafe experience at home.

Maggi is every student’s best friend. It’s there for you when you’re lazy or when you’re low on cash. But you can easily get bored of eating it. Sure, you can add an egg, some vegetables and a protein of your choice to turn these instant noodles into a balanced meal but that can get boring too. Here’s one way to up your Maggi game!
Boil a pack of Maggi instant noodles as per instructions, drain and put it aside. For the next step of this creative recipe, you’ll need to combine an egg, chopped onions, Maggi flavor packet (most recipes call for the curry flavor but you can use any flavor you like), and the boiled noodles in a large bowl. Pour the mixture into a hot pan and fry the Murtabak Maggi for 3 minutes on each side. And voila, you’ve got yourself a new and fun way of preparing your Maggi noodles!

Mmm, I’m already salivating at the thought of the soft, buttery and sweet taste of the famous honey butter biscuits from Texas Chicken as I’m writing this. Perfect to dig into before and even, after finishing my fried chicken. Every time I’m at the fast food chain restaurant, I make sure I order an extra set of honey butter biscuits. I simply can’t get enough of it!
If you’ve been missing these warm, delicious biscuits, here’s a simple recipe you can try at home – just by using an air fryer.
Ingredients needed:
- 2 ½ cups of wheat flour
- 4 teaspoons of baking powder
- ½ tablespoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 115g of butter
- 140ml of fresh milk
- 2 teaspoons of vinegar
- 50g of honey (to brush on your finished biscuits)
- 50g of butter (to brush on your finished biscuits)
Now that you’ve got your ingredients ready, mix the wheat flour, baking powder, granulated sugar and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Next, blend the butter into the flour mixture with your hands until the mixture starts to feel like bread crumbs. Scoop the mixture onto a baking tray lined with some parchment tray and bake the biscuits at 180°C for 15 minutes in the oven, or as this recipe suggests, in the air fryer. Once it’s ready, you can brush honey and butter on top of the biscuits and you can start enjoying your baked goods.
